Health insurance. Some times health insurance as a college student is as easy as getting covered with your parents. For others, they will need to look through their options. Here are some tips to help you get covered.

Check with your college
There are some colleges that offer health insurance plans. If you are in need of a plan, the college health office will be the best place to check and see if there are some viable options.
Living as a dependent
If you are a dependent and under the age of 26, you will be eligible to live under your parent’s health insurance, given that they are covered as well. In this case, unless your college happens to offer a plan that has better benefits than your parent’s, you will not need to do anything.
Not living as a dependent
In this case, you will need to do some research on the best plans available to you. This will also be dependent on which state you are currently located in.
