Side Hustle Saturday v2, we focused on using platforms like Canva, Pinterest, and Squarespace.
Nerdwallet: Learn more about Life Insurance
First, we started off going over the life insurance companies to help our candidates be more familiar with what life insurance is about. Here we discussed the companies we have heard about and learning more about the various types of insurance companies.
Pinterest: Creating Ads and Visuals
Secondly, we starting creating ads that tied to the Bruce Wayne or Batman persona to see which was more visually appealing using Canva. We also pinned things that remind us of each persona to get a rough idea of what the ad should represent.
Squarespace: Creating Blog Posts
Lastly, the SHS candidates created blog posts that are correlated to their neighborhood. They learned the platform Squarespace and published their first articles on InsuredTY. Here are two examples were written by our SHS candidates.
