Udemy Wrap-up

This month we purchased two Udemy courses about Facebook Marketing and Ads. They were about $20 dollars each which is great value considering the amount of content they provide.

This course was very focused on Facebook advertising with a detailed explanation about setting up ad campaigns as well as some useful tricks and methods for getting the most out of your ads. This is the course I followed primarily for this months (October) projects.

Complete Digital Marketing Course for Local Businesses 2021

This course was much more general with hours upon hours of content about every possible form of digital marketing you can think of including SEO, Facebook, Linkedin, Google etc. On the one hand it’s easy to get lost and impossible to watch it all, but on the other hand it will be useful in the future as we try different forms of advertising and marketing.

From a reflective point of view, these courses were very valuable and will continue to be a good reference for us in the future. Learning through courses like these should always come hand in hand with practical implementation otherwise it is very challenging to digest all the information. Finally it is important to “go shopping” and pick out the most useful chapters depending on your current skill set and the current needs.
