Kareena Sharif’s: Finance Internship

 Introduction:

Hi! My name is Kareena and I am a freshman at Fordham University. I come from a technical-based background here most of my experience has revolved around computer science and business. However, I am really excited to have started a new position here at InsuredTY as a finance intern. 

Why InsuredTY? Personal Internship Goals:

I took this internship because of the company’s goal and initiative to help immigrant families find financial security. As someone who comes from a family of immigrants, I understand the struggle and hardship there is to maintain finances. So I joined InsuredTY to be a part of that change and to help families like mine own. My goal is ultimately to learn how to extract leads especially from email marketing but most importantly how and where to get those emails. As a personal goal, I want to improve my people skills and build valuable connections that I can carry with me for the rest of my career. 

My Top of Funnel Strategy.

Currently, my top-of-funnel strategy is mostly through social media. I found that with social media I can build and connect quicker with InsuredTY’s targeted demographic. In the future, I hope to expand this strategy to be more concentrated on email marketing and based on more social media platforms such as Facebook.
