Outbound Marketing- Alyssa

There are many ways that businesses can effectively complete outbound marketing. I will be discussing examples of functional email, text, and phone marketing.

Text Message Marketing

Text message marketing is an up and coming tactic for many companies while promoting their goods and services. This is a great example of marketing through a text message because the company, Serenity Blue, is targeting personalization for the customer and wishing her a Happy Birthday! Not only the sense of care Serenity Blue is illustrating, they also give the customer 20% off. The time constraint is listed to avoid confusion, and overall the company is doing a great job making their clients feel special.

Email Marketing

This is a very appealing example of email marketing completed by Uber Eats. As a first time user who has not used their app yet, they sent me $30 off my first order, which is essentially free money. The code to redeem the incentive is listed, which shows it is a legitimate offering, and they include a picture of food to depict what the company offers.

Phone Call Marketing

This is a script for the foundation of marketing through a good phone call. First, you should address the client by their name. Customers are much more likely to engage if the marketing is personalized. Secondly, inform the customer of what you are selling. Lastly, state what you can offer. By stating your goods and services, and how it can help the client, it will result in more interest for the client to discuss the matter with you. This could then lead to a conversion/sale.
