Internship 101: What I learned about working professionally this summer!

How is working similar to school? How is it different?

Working is similar to school since school assigns tasks also known as homework assignments, where we have to complete. At InsuredTY, I have weekly learning development homework that contains weekly pitches, certifications, and blog articles. It is different because at work we are learning, however taking action.

What communication skills did you develop?

I learned to communicate and connect with my fellow co-workers to brainstorm, gather requirements, as well as take action as a team. This helped me able to communicate efficiently and effectively.

What can you improve in the future to continue pursuing a successful career?

I can improve in the future to continue pursuing a successful career by sucessfully accomplishing challenging tasks that are out of my comfort zone. This way I can experience and grow in my career.
